Next Monday – December 23rd will be a non-working day in Azerbaijan in connection with the municipal elections.
In accordance with the second item of the eighth article of the Election Code, the voting day (referendum) is not considered a working day in the area.
According to the Labor Code of Azerbaijan Republic, if the voting day does not overlap with the nation-wide mourning day or a non-working holiday, the voting is set for another working day of the same month.
Due to the fact that the municipal elections are held nationwide, December 23rd will be a non-working day.
