In accordance with the task of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the improvement of the social conditions of the Azerbaijani Army's personnel, another residential building in the territory of the Military Air Forces Airbase has been commissioned for servicemen.
At the key presenting ceremony, commander of the Military Air Forces, general-lieutenant Ramiz Tahirov greeted the ceremony participants on behalf of the Ministry's administration.
The Deputy Minister said that regularly ensuring servicemen with permanent and service apartments for the improvement of the social conditions of servicemen is the clear example of the care the head of state shows for the army.
It was noted at the event, the 5-floor building consists of 70 apartments, and all the communication lines have been equipped.
Gas, water, electricity meters have been set up. Apartments have been provided with kitchen, living, children and bedroom furniture and heating system. Asphalt has been paved in the area; a 100-cube water tank has been set up, and greening works have been carried out.
The servicemen expressed gratitude to Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev for the care.
Afterwards, commander of the Military Air Forces, general-lieutenant R. Tahirov familiarized himself with the conditions created and talked to the family members of the servicemen at the tea table.
