Two first vice-presidents of ANAS elected

At the annual general meeting of Azerbaijan's National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) held on December 28, it was proposed to establish the position of 2 first vice-presidents (on humanitarian-public sciences and natural-exact sciences).

President of the Academy Ramiz Mehdiyev made this proposal.

At the meeting, Isa Habibbayli was nominated for the position of the first vice-president on humanitarian-public sciences and academician Ibrahim Guliyev for the position of the first vice-president on natural-exact sciences.

Isa Habibbayli and Ibrahim Guliyev were elected the first vice-presidents of the National Academy of Sciences with 55 votes.
