The New Year atmosphere is felt in our country as well as everywhere. The arrival of the New Year is especially different in Baku. It is enough to visit only one place - the Central Park to feel that difference.
The main purpose of the creation of the Central Park is to make the city look more beautiful and serve the cultural relaxation of capital residents and tourists. 14 out of 20 ha of the Central Park are covered with trees. More than 2, 100 trees of 19 types and over 137, 000 flowers and plants have been planted here. Now, in winter, the most beautiful tree in the park is a pine tree.
The highest New Year tree in the capital is also located in the Central Park. Its height is 15 meters, and the diameter is over 6 meters.
All seasons of the year have been taken into consideration in the greening concept of the Central Park. Therefore, the Central Park is always visited despite cold and rainy weather.
It is noteworthy that the Central Park has been projected by Austrian architect Jens Hoffman.
