An appeal has been made on Azerbaijan Television's "Week" analytical program to some people who have started discussions and made programs based on a few comments made on social media by fake profiles.
In the program, the mentioned people were recommended not to find shelter in fake comments, but to review the reports of international social research centers, rating agencies on our country: "Azerbaijan is developing, proves itself not only in the regional, but also in the international relations system, pursues an independent policy; our country is recognized with its leader, loved and accepted. Today, our economic development, the pursued social policy, the high attention and care shown for citizens, sensitive attitude are in the spotlight. We do not have to go far. The social-economic outcomes of 2019 make proud each of our fellow citizens through whose veins the Azerbaijani blood is running. The main thing is that we have the stable and safe Motherland, independent state that stands out with sustainable development; there is the people-leader unity.
However, unfortunately, some circles, which cannot stand the development of our Azerbaijan, attempt to look for flaws in every policy pursued by the state and overlook them, are getting more active; they use different methods. Naturally, in this case, some people of the same origin as us are also enough used in this. There is no need to name these people. We can just feel sorry for these "heroes" who are mainly keyboard warriors and social media stars.
Look how miserable those individuals, who have no social support, are that they make programs and organize discussions based on the comments of 3-5 fake profiles from social media. First of all, these miserable people should know that 3-5 people can never reflect the opinions and position of the nation. Secondly, if you are interested in the attitude of the people towards the policy pursued by the government, take a look at the reports of the international social research centers and rating agencies throughout 2019. Of course, if you actually consider yourselves professional journalists and really care about these people.
Well, let us put polls aside. I wonder whether these miserable people, who try to teach the people on social media, have at least once talked about the horrific tragedies and genocides, such as 20 January or 26 February, committed against our people, discussed with the American or European parliamentarians they blindly serve the problems faced by over 1 million refugees and IDPs, the fact that 20% of our lands have been occupied or the terror policy pursued by Armenia, demanded a legal assessment of these issues? Or whether they have supported the policy pursued by the state in this direction, let us even take the nation-wide marches numerously organized for this purpose? No, because to do this, it is important to be an Azerbaijani. Not only on a document, but also in terms of belief, dignity, morality. These qualities are not sold in a store so that we could buy and distribute to these miserable people. You are either born with these qualities or… There is no Motherland for those who have lost their morality and dignity. They only have interests. If the interest of 3-5 people overlaps with their thoughts and approach, those people are glorified and promoted; discussions are launched. Nevertheless, that period is already over, ladies and gentlemen.
Azerbaijan is developing, not only in terms of the social-economic indicators, but also in terms of human resources, staff potential and mindset. Be confident that the people ridicule the so-called ideological work carried out by you like they once swept under the rug your predecessors. Because they know who you really are better than any of us and even better than yourselves. Therefore, you are not paid attention anymore, therefore, the people are around their leader, the president who leads this state to development and provides stability.
The President who puts citizens, their interests in the center of the state policy, the President for whom the solution to the problems of citizens is a No 1 strategic issue, the President who calls every official, including himself, a servant of the people and eventually, the President who said addressing the opposition: "If you want to achieve something, first of all, you have to get rid of the old factors and form a healthy, contemporary opposition, which will criticize us, but reasonably, which will prioritize the nation-wide issues". And he says: "I hope that one day, we will see that". Look the President wants to see a strong opposition.
Let us admit that this approach, which is rarely witnessed on a global scale, shows the attitude of the Azerbaijani state and President towards the people and citizens, the power of this state and its leader. This is the issue that should be commented on and analyzed, not the comments made by 3-5 people here and there. The sooner you realize it, the better for you. Alas, it is very hard".
