At the instruction of the head of state, works are continued to raise the quality of the taxi service in Baku and ensure the passenger satisfaction. Within the framework of these works, 100 new generation London cabs working on electrical energy will be brought to the capital.

The first out of 100 electro cars is already in Baku. All the necessary conditions have been created in these vehicles for 6 passengers to reach the destination comfortably.

Director of "Baku Taxi Service" Ltd Fuad Aliyev said that these automobiles had special alternators: "In turn, it allows to overcome 400 km distance. There are taximeters in these vehicles. A taximeter is launched after the destination is named. Payment will be made both in cash, and via POS-terminals. It plays a big role in cashless operations."

These vehicles are safe in terms of ecology, as they work not on fuel, but on electrical energy. Wheelchair ramps have been set up in these vehicles for the comfortable usage of people with disabilities. To restrict the communication with a driver, all operations are carried out through the Android system via monitors. Wi-Fi has also been set up to ensure the comfort of passengers, especially those who travel long distances. Drivers will serve in special uniforms.

A mobile application will also be launched to simplify the accessibility to taxis. Thus, a passenger will be able to learn the payment for the distance beforehand. 100 electro cars will be brought to the capital and commissioned within 3 months.
