Health Minister of Azerbaijan Ogtay Shiraliyev has signed an order "On the Strengthening of Preventive Measures against the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus".
According to the Press Service of the Health Ministry, all the necessary instructions have been given on following the sanitary-hygienic regulations, implementation of the disinfection measures, allocation of specials hospital rooms for the hospitalization of patients, especially children and elderly suspected of respiratory viruses.
At the same time, it is highlighted in the order that the mutual activity of the State Customs Committee and the Ministry of Health is necessary for examining people coming from the countries where the disease has been spreading.
It is noteworthy that according to the World Health Organization, the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus was first discovered in China's Wuhan city in December of 2019.
In January of this year, the disease has started spreading to Thailand, South Korea, Japan and other countries.
