New agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Greece

The business forum entitled "The Discovery of Azerbaijan: The presentation of business opportunities to the Greek public" has been held in the Athens. The event has been organized by the Federation of Entrepreneurs of Greece, Greek National Investment and Trade Promotion Agency, Azerbaijani Embassy in Greece, "Agricultural Purchase and Supply" OJSC under Azerbaijan Ministry of Agriculture and Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO).

According to the Azerbaijani Embassy, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Greece Anar Huseynov, vice-president of the Federation of Entrepreneurs of Greece Konstantinos Bitsios, executive director of the National Investment and Trade Promotion Agency Georgios Filiopulos, chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Agricultural Purchase and Supply" OJSC under the Ministry of Agriculture Leyla Mammadova and advisor to the AZPROMO President Fuad Panahov took part in the forum. They gave information about the current state and prospects of the economic relations between the two countries, the investment environment created in Azerbaijan, the reforms carried out in the field of agriculture and cooperation opportunities. The Greek businessmen participating in the event showed great interest in the establishment of business relations with Azerbaijan.

During the event, agreements were reached on the mutual participation at the exhibitions in the field of trade to be held in Azerbaijan and Greece and on the organization of the visit of the trade mission of Greek businessmen to Azerbaijan. Within the framework of the Forum, the exhibition and tasting of various products manufactured in Azerbaijan were organized.
