This year, new wagons will be brought to Baku metro. If there is a technical problem on new wagons, is there any way out of the situation? Is the technical service of these wagons possible in Azerbaijan?

Today, almost most of the wagons have been replaced with new ones. The details of new trains and wagons have their expiry date, and when the exploitation date expires, systems meeting international standards have been set up to conduct the technical service of trains at a high level. In accordance with the standards, after trains overcome the 35, 140 and 280-km distance, they are sent to the repair depot. Trains, which have overcome the 500, 000-km distance, are sent to overhaul. The process is completed within 15-20 days.

Works are underway in connection with the exploitation of new trains and their technical service. Therefore, representatives of the companies, which have manufactured the trains, have been invited to our country.  

Experts say that all trains must go through the repeated inspection after the 12-hour activity to ensure the security of passengers.

Another factor causing concern is the possibility of spreading various bacteria, diseases. Trains are always subjected to disinfection to avoid such cases.

We will not be wrong if we say that the visual cleanness of trains and their neatness depend on passengers.

It is also planned to purchase trains meeting modern standards for new stations to be commissioned. This year, 20 wagons will be brought to Baku Metropoliten. Thus, the number of trains will reach 15 and the number of wagons 75.
