Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on April 13 "On the additional measures regarding the improvement of providing sown areas with water and ensuring water supply of the population in Oghuz region".
In accordance with the order, 700, 000 AZN have been allocated to Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC) for the construction of 10 subartesian wells in Oghuz in order to provide sown areas located in 9 residential points with the population of 12, 736 people with water.
