Relevant measures are underway by the Prosecutor General's Office's bodies and regional executive power against negative cases, which took place while distributing products to unemployed people and low-income families and the violation of the special quarantine regime declared by the Operative Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers created at the task of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the Republic carry our urgent preventive measures.
According to the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan Republic, appeals have been investigated in connection with this kind of violations committed by some high-ranking officials of Sabirabad, Aghjabadi and Tartar Executive Power.
As a result of the investigations, it has become known that representative of Sabirabad Region Executive Power for Ulajali village administrative constituency Mehman Jafarov and representative of the region for Guruzma village administrative constituency Igbal Aliyev have committed negative cases during the distribution of products sent by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to low-income families; they have distributed these products to their close relatives, as well as wealthy people of the village. Thus, M.Jafarov and I. Aliyev have abused power and violated the special quarantine regime by giving permits to those who wanted to move freely.
Representative of Aghajabi Region Executive Power for Parioghullar village administrative constituency Imran Hasanov, representative for Aran village administrative constituency Mazahir Amirahov and his deputy Allahverdi Huseynov have abused power by creating an opportunity for some people to breach the special quarantine regime.
Besides, representative of Tartar Region Executive Power for Mamirli village administrative constituency Shahid Mammadov has also committed the same violations. Thus, Shahid Mammadov has abused power by giving illegal permits to those who wanted to move freely.
The above-mentioned people have been dismissed from their positions.
Criminal cases have been launched at the Prosecutor Offices of Sabirabad, Aghajabadi and Tartar regions according to article 313 of the Criminal Code.
