In accordance with the gradual mitigation of the special quarantine regime plan and existing sanitary-epidemiological state, it has been decided to resume the activity of Baku Metropolitan from May 9, 2020, 00:00, the Operative Headquarters under Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has reported.
It has been noted that during the pandemic, Baku Metropolitan should carry out its work in accordance with the requirements and rules of the Operative Headquarters, as well as according to the "Methodical instruction regarding the prevention of the coronavirus in public transport".
At the same time, only people with an SMS permit, work ID and document from work can be allowed into the metro.
Passengers are required to wear a protective mask and practice social distancing in the territory of the metro and on trains.
