Since the beginning of 2025, Azerbaijan's population has increased by 5,777 people or 0.1 percent, reaching 10,230,666 people as of March 1, 2025, citing the State Statistical Committee.

 

Some 54.4 percent of the population is urban, 45.6 percent is rural, 49.8 percent is male, and 50.2 percent is female.
