Azerbaijani karateka Irina Zaretska has won the gold medal at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Zaretska claimed victory in the 68 kg weight category after defeating Türkiye's Eda Eltemur 5:3 in the final bout.
Meanwhile, Nuran Rzazada, representing Azerbaijan in the 67 kg category, was eliminated in the round of 32 after losing to Uzbekistan's Abdul Vakhab Rashidov.
