“The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) holds special importance for both Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Further strengthening ties and enhancing cooperation within the organization have always been of particular significance for both countries,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference held with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.
“There are several important cooperation formats involving both Azerbaijan and Türkiye, including trilateral and quadrilateral formats, such as Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Georgia, Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Pakistan, and several others. As COP29 President, Azerbaijan reaffirms its full support for Türkiye ahead of its hosting of COP31,” the Azerbaijani FM added.
