“Meetings of the 1st Kurultai of Composers of Turkic World are scheduled to be held on a rotating basis in the Turkic states in the future,” said Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, during the opening ceremony of the 1st Kurultai of Composers of Turkic World.
She emphasized that as part of an active roadmap planned until 2032, a number of initiatives are envisaged, including the organization of international festivals, the establishment of the “Turkic Music Awards”, the publication of an Anthology of Contemporary Music of the Turkic World, the creation of a digital music library on the “Turkic Heritage” platform, the development of composer residencies, and the establishment of a Turkic World Youth Symphony Orchestra.
