On October 3, Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the call, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his deep condolences to Seyed Abbas Araghchi over the passing of his sister and wished patience to the deceased’s family and loved ones.
The ministers discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran.
During the telephone conversation, the officials also exchanged views on the current situation in the region and security matters. They emphasized the importance of ensuring regional peace, stability, and security, strengthening mutual trust, and expanding opportunities for regional cooperation.
The ministers also addressed other matters of mutual concern.
