The Operative Headquarters of Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has made the decision to apply a number of restrictions within the framework of the special quarantine regime taking into consideration the sharp growth in coronavirus cases in many countries, as well as in Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers, the passenger transportation at Baku Metropolitan will be terminated from 00:00 o'clock October 19 till 06:00 o'clock November 2. A holiday will be announced at all education institutions from October 19 till November 2.
In accordance with the relevant instruction of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic, the number of employees at state institutions will be reduced by 30%, other employees will work distantly. Institutions and organizations in the private sector and other fields are recommended to apply the same rules. Citizens over the age of 65 are recommended to leave their location only if necessary.
